Specs: Windows 7
Same thing as above.
Why isn't my question showing up in my list of tracked posts when I go to my home on this site?

Have you clicked on Show All Messages, to get a complete list of all tracked posts?

You can click on 'my computing.net' in the right column and select 'settings'. There are some options there you can fiddle with that control how threads you post in are displayed.

That is strange. Assuming the above suggestions didn't work, here are a couple of things to check:

Are you sure you're looking in the right place? When logged in, click on "My Home" in the upper right corner of any page on the site. From there, click "Tracked Threads."

Are you using the same account that you uses to post the threads?

If neither of those two things are the case, your posting may have gotten removed from the list of Tracked Threads somehow. You can always adding it back by going to the posting and clicking the star icon next to its title.

If you are unsure where to find your old postings, you can always see all threads in which you are active on the site in your public user profile page. To get to that page, click on "My Home" again, then click on your screen name where it says, "Welcome farsighted."

Thank you!

My posts are all there except the one that I tried to post before this. It disappeared after I submitted it. -twice. Thought maybe the thread was monitored andmy post had to be approved before it was posted, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I'll try posting it again- sigh.

These are the threads that show in which you posted:

I've noticed the above listings by user name aren't immediately updated but your own personal my computing.net list is updated as soon as you post.

That is odd. Maybe it was removed by a moderator. However, I don't see any evidence of that. I guess try again.

Yes, that is correct. The user info page is updated one a day (unless the user had no postings at the last update, then its updated in real time). Your own personal list is in real time.
