Solved The new layout of CN General hardware forum

Why is "report" directly under the count box in each question??? It more looks like it indicates how many times an answer was reported, not the voting u/d. I see almost nothing is voted up/down much, and people are using "best answer more", which is good. IMHO, it may prove less confusing if the ability to "report" a rotten apple were not directly under the count box.....my 2 cents.

Hey,

Actually, I've had a few reports, no pun intended, about this issue. I am working on some other designs. The problem is getting everything to fit as well as making the report button clear and obvious. Thanks for the feedback. I am definitely considering a change!

Hey,

Based on your (and other's) advice, I added the term "Score" above the number. I think this makes it clear the number is the score of votes whereas the report is separate.

Thanks!

Hey,

Hold down control and hit F5 to do a full-reload. It should fix that.

yes it is cutting off text.....nothing can ever be simple. Can it go at the bottom in it's own space "report" or beside the date.....I don't know........I never use them, I usually just help, was merely thinking of first timers.....and I know.....move a little here...and something else goes out of wack.....whatever works!

Hey,

HopperRox, I'm trying to make it as simple as possible, unfortunately, adding more necessitated a change in the stylesheets to stop it cutting off text. After you do a full-reload as I described, the stylesheets will get refreshed and everything will be OK!
