Some posts are too wide and a pain to read. Why is that?
Here is an example:
http://www.computing.net/answers/se...

You have to keep moving the bottom bar for each line, so I don't even bother trying to read the post which I'm sure others are doing too.

Isn't there a way to have the post set up to the size of the box? I noticed it after computing.net got bought out by Tom's Guide. Looks like they are trying to fit more ads on the page than before

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers

Hi,

Basically, the post contains very long lines with no spaces. There is no way to do a line return without a space, so it just keeps extending. I'm not sure how long ago I changed it, but you are right. Now they lines will get horizontal scrollbars instead of messing up the entire formatting of the site.

Those lines have always been problems, and this is the best way to deal with them without causing everything to get screwy.

Another thing I've noticed is that when certain words become highlighted due to the In-Text Advertising, the highlighted word doesn't scroll down along with the rest of the text. That can make the post even more difficult to read.
