Solved [Site Enhancement] Manually entering system specs

Specs: Linux (i686)
I just tried running the Java applet that scans your system for your system specs and it must only work on Windows. It would be nice if you could manually enter your system specs if a Linux version isn't in the works.

Hey,

Actually, if you enter specs when you make a new thread, the system will remember them. However, since I've been asked this question multiple times, perhaps this isn't quite obvious. I have added a button called "Manual Entry" system specs the page. This will allow you to manually enter the information.

Thank you for the suggestion!

Hey Justin, I had one more idea with the System Specs. I don't know if this is possible, but I would like a way to store multiple system configurations. I have problems with different computers, and it doesn't help when my System Specs are changed when I type in different info when posting a question. Perhaps a way to select a configuration to be shown when you post a question? Thanks Justin,

RMT2,

As you might imagine, that is a bit more complex, and the system was never designed to work that way. The next time I do a major change, I will keep that functionality in mind.

Thank you!
