Links to ads in posts

January 6, 2016 at 00:40:16
Specs: Linux
Computing.net converts miscellaneous words within posts
into advertisement links. They are infuriating, but have been
out of mind because out of sight while using Windows, where I
did something to prevent them. Probably either the hosts file
or Windows Internet Options Security settings. Can I make
them go away in Android 4.4.2 ?

Disable In-Text links and Most Ads on the site. Can be found under

http://www.computing.net/cgi-bin/my...

as one of the check boxes

Thanks, Mike. Your link doesn't work, but it told me where I
needed to go: My home > Settings. Maybe the problem was
that they somehow got reset to the default values.
