We're actually very modest and quiet about it really...

Some blow up a few fireworks; some imbibe a little and eat a wee to much perhaps; but otherwise all rather quiet...?

Another 53 years and we'll be 200...; possibly have a rerun of Expo (19)67...

Happy 147th and I promise I won't mention Justin Bieber.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Erm...yes... And we even have sunshine, lots and lots of "fresh" water; and we're not entirely covered in snow and ice... In '67 it was "allegedly" observed that some visitors from south of the border were travelling to Montreal/expo 67 - with skis... And on asking "where is the snow?" they seemed very surprised when told about 1500-2000miles or so due north...

Mind you about 15years or so back it did dump quite a bit around about this time of the year in Alberta; specifically between Calgary and Banff... (and possibly Edmonton and further west). Did cause "a few" problems for all those in summer clothes and driving their camper vans, winebagos etc...

I'll be darned! I thought Canada was a fictional place they make fun of on South Park.

Ok Ok, I know. I have some relatives up there somewhere and my dad sometimes went up to Calgary or Edmonton or some place like that for business when he was with standard oil of Ohio.

No DAVEINCAPS its the USA that is the fictional place... it is really a long running soapie, we see it on the TV every night.

So my whole life is just some writer's imaginative plot twists? Well I guess that explains all my alien abductions.
