Dell Inspiron 1545
October 29, 2012 at 12:09:39
Specs: Vista, Duotronic IIa/5096 gigaquads
I hate noobs (ok, I admit i was one at some time last decade) that post questions, don't provide ANY info (a message like "i have a problem plz help") and don't reply when you ask them for info. It would be nice if they posted at least who their computer is made by! If you agree, reply to this message!
~oldie
P.S if you are a noob reading this, take this as advice. POST SYSTEM SPECS AND INFO!

It's not a question of being a novice. It's a question of common decency. If you ask a favor, you should be thankful if someone genuinely tries to help. Kinda simple, but so many are so immature and wrapped up in themselves that no one else matters, especially someone they can't see or hear. I guess they think we're a search engine providing answers mechanically.

I didn't say a word! Why would you need to change anything?

We do get this sort of thing on here:

Maybe the browsers won't connect to the water supply
but produce "something errors" instead.

You're talking about newbies here. I've been a newbie on computing.net for 12-14 years and don't see a reason to "hate" any of us newbies.

No offence meant! i mean noobs that don't know a thing and say "i have a problem plz hhelp". You don't classify as a noob, skipcox.
OtheHill: yes, this post does have to do with that. I meant for people to click on the link, and I forgot about copy-and-paste...

"POST SYSTEM SPECS AND INFO!"

OLDISGOOD, you are guilty of doing the exact same thing. What the heck is Specs: Vista, Duotronic IIa/5096 gigaquads? And I recall a recent post of where you wrote "i'm tired of typing sys specs". How about putting them in your signature if it's too much of a chore to type them or copy/paste?

You don't even have to put your specs in your signature.

Go to "My Computing.Net" and look under "System Specs".
You can then choose to either run the auto-scan or put them in manually.
If they need changing then you can do that manually too.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
