How to do a "How to" on this forum. At various times I have tried posting them, and they never show up, all other posts are fine. Any ideas Mr. Weber? To err is human but to really screw things up, you need a computer!
Hi HopperRox, You're definitely not the only person to make mistakes :) No issues. I did see the one you posted. Obviously, I didn't approve it as it was just a test, but I'm glad its working out! I know the second submit can be a little confusing, but you wouldn't believe how many people post questions as how tos. Its crazy. Its good to make them look twice I think.

HopperRox, That is odd. Could you tell me what procedures you are going through to try to post them? While not that often, there definitely are how tos being posted occasionally. If there is something wrong with the system, I'd like to try to figure it out. Keep in mind that How tos need to be approved before they show up, but I wouldn't think yours would get denied.
Thanks,
Justin
Let me see. I click "How To's", click "Post a new How to" .
Out pops a Genie, sorry, wrong one, up pops a page to create a how to!
I select "General Hardware" for section.
Inserted a title in the appropriate area.
I then laboriously typed out a how to Just for Justin!
Click submit ..... smoke rising, a clickity clack, clickity clack, wait it's transmitting and receiving.........the Genie is back. Now I have the option to confirm and it shows my text neatly typed just like when I did it! I hit "Submit" again, more smoke, clickity clack, clickity clack, and the Genie is back with my "How to" has been sent to the High Command for verification and steganographric pictures! Perhaps I missed the second submit? Can't remember. I am only human I make mistakes.
If you could check with the High Command, you should have the opportunity to approve the above test. I titled it so you may recognize it;) After eliminating all the other people I said to myself, Hey, maybe it's me?

It must still be at High Command for processing. lol To err is human but to really screw things up, you need a computer!
