✔ Best Answer
Members cannot delete posts or edit the original post in a thread. Only moderators or administrators can do that. According to your previous thread this has been reported to the forum admin who will look after this.

You could also use the "report" link at the bottom of the post in question. This will bring it to the attention of moderators.

Hello,

To extend on what LMiller7 said, if you need a post removed that is not offensive or in other ways inappropriate, simply reporting it may not result in removal. Please let us know here the post you would like removed.

Thanks!
Justin

Justin,

Is it true that Members can't edit their own original post in a thread?

If I create an OP, I can edit it and it says "Edited by DerbyDad03" at the bottom, just like it does for edits to any of my own posts.

If I edit anybody else's post (OP or not) it says "Edited by Moderator", which makes sense.

Am I able to edit my own OP's because I am a Moderator - even though it says "Edited by DerbyDad03" and not "Edited by Moderator"?

If so, then isn't the "Edited by DerbyDad03" message a bug since DerbyDad03 (the member) can't edit an OP, only DerbyDad03 (the moderator) can?

The proper way to get this done is by starting your own thread.
