How the devil do I post at this site

Microsoft Excel 2003 (full product)
August 28, 2010 at 03:06:40
Specs: Windows 7/XP Dual Boot, 1.4/3gig
Oh for the days when one could happily post on the forum without all the hassle I experience now. For example when I attempt to post a question I have to start at the bottom of the page and type the subject in large upper case, then a window opens where I can post my question... BUT in the product area the words "Microsoft Excel 2003 (full version)" appear and no matter what I do I can't get rid of them. What am I doing wrong or not doing at all?

Edit: You'll notice that they appear in this post too regardless of the fact that I dleted them before posting.

If you want that gone, you need to go into "My Home"/System Specs/Clear Values. The reason they are appearing is because, at one time, you selected that as your product and the system remembered.

The fact it remembered even when you deleted it when you were making a post was a bug. Thank you for noticing that and alerting me. I believe I have fixed that error. However, to get it permanently gone (in other words, not showing up automatically when you go to the ask question form), you must clear it from the System Specs.
