How many 3rd party websites does this site me connect to?

How many third party websites does this site me connect to? I'm seeing dozens if not hundreds of sites, including tracking cookies, ads, and whatever else, and it seems to take an unusually long time for the page to finish loading.

Also, computing.net says at the bottom of the page:
"By posting on this site, you agree to abide by the rules, and confirm you are over 13 years of age."

Why does a person need to be thirteen to have freedom of speech on the internet? Ageism is stupid and disgusting. Don't tell me it's for their own protection. If you cared about their privacy, you wouldn't connect them to tracking cookies. I bet you're glad people don't protect you from your own basic rights by depriving you of freedom of speech.

That is all for now.

How many third party websites does this site me connect to?
ALL OF THEM. (About 13, by my count.)

Why does a person need to be thirteen to have freedom of speech on the internet?
The government neither owns nor operates this website. The Constitution of the United States doesn't apply. (Those over 13 are also not entitled to free speech, either.)

Ageism is stupid and disgusting.
It's also the law. Yay!

That is all for now.
I give this troll a 1 out of 5.

Why does a person need to be thirteen to have freedom of speech on the internet?

As was pointed out by my esteemed colleague Razor2.3, the owner's of this website are able to set whatever age limit they feel is necessary. The age limit on this site has nothing to do with freedom of speech.

Ageism is stupid and disgusting.

It's also necessary. Or do you think 8 year olds should be allowed to drive, drink and smoke?

There's a reason for most age limits and that's because even though most children feel they are old enough to make their own life decisions, most lack experience and knowledge on which to base important life decisions. That's why you have parents.

If we kicked our kids out the door as soon as they were able to walk and talk, say age 5, they'd all die and so would our species. So adults like me, raise kiddies like you until you are (hopefully) mentally mature enough to step out into the big wide world and fend for yourselves.

Don't tell me it's for their own protection.

No, it's for our protection. Most of us adults prefer not to deal with snot-nosed, immature, mouthy little brats!

Okay, who left the door open and let this little snot-nosed troll in here???

Great video, I was literally LOL.

"Head, why the head?"
"They're trolls. They're heads are on loose and that's why they say all that crazy stuff"

Holy newborn batman. I didn't know anything about this age limit. I am only 12 and have been coming here since '99.

likelystory: I am . . . running a computer repair business from my home in Pensacola, Fl. I . . . took on a few things to make ends meet after being laid off from the air conditioning business I worked at for many years.
Some childhoods are rougher than others, I guess. To be fair, I wouldn't want a toddler working on my A/C. Even if they can get to the small bits with ease, they just don't have the upper arm strength to attach those hoses.

SpecialCharacters

There are many ways of dealing with ads. I never see any of them.

Some useful free programs that are just about commonplace:

CCleaner Lite - Cleans up your computer and you can select just the cookies you want.

SpywareBlaster - uses no resources, protects you on the net and gets rid of ads.

I assume you use the IE popup blocker.

Then there is Firefox with AdBlock Plus.

Otherwise you use Google to find more specialised items and procedures.

@mikelinus in all honesty I am approaching twelve for the fourth time.

@Razor2.3 Actually I wasn't a whole lot older than a toddler when I started at the first A/C company I worked for. Ironically I was thirteen. I am guessing this all to be a bit missleading. I was never an A/C tech. I started out installing the units and commercial duct work. Later I moved into fabrication of various sheet metal products mainly relaited to the industrial air conditioning field. Now I sort of watch over the local networks of two of the companies I used to work for and one company owned by a friend. I've changed what I put my hands on but I am still in the A/C business.
