I found a glitch in the ratings of How-Tos on this website. I tried this with my own How-To. So the author of the How-To can rate their own How-To, right? Well the author can rate their own How-To once a day and have it take effect to the actual rating. So some of the ratings could be false, including the one I tested this on, "Fixing the Cursed Start Menu." Even though this isn't that big of a deal, I like everything being picture perfect. Anyway, just wanted to report it.

Hey,

There is a system in place to prevent users from rating their own howto multiple times within a certain period of time. However, you are correct in that, if you try again after the time period expires, you would be able to rate it again. I realize this is a problem, but the logistics of trying to track every rating for every Howto would be very complex. Further, people could use proxy servers and other devices to get around this restriction if they really wanted to anyway. I agree this is a potential problem, but, unfortunately, there isn't very much that can be done to prevent it.

Thanks for letting me know though!
