As of today, the New FB Privacy setting called "Instant Personalization" goes into effect. The new setting shares your data with non-Facebook websites & it is automatically set to "Enabled". Go to Account>Privacy Settings>Apps & Websites>Instant Personalization>edit settings & uncheck "Enable". BTW, If your friends don't do this, they will be sharing info about you as well.

Why do we have to opt out? Zuckerman and his little band of elves a really slime balls.

I just checked and mine was not enabled.

Thanks for the info though, I would have uchecked it had it been checked!

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.

Some people are saying theirs is not checked but mine was.

And your welcome.

I'm not a FB user & I never will be unless there is a way that I can make some money.

I agree about the opt out thing, not just with FB, with anything. It should be opt in. You're out unless you want to be included.

Every time Zuckerberg comes out with a new privacy policy, it is a new encroachment against the user that requires an opt-out. I finallly nuked my account. I signed up again with a false name, for those few times when I want to read some thought leader there, but other than that I'm out of there. Horrendous.

I nuked mine also. Just not worth the hassle.
