Hi all,

This week's poll question is about news that Verizon Wireless will be eliminating sales of phones with a two year contract. Discuss here if you think these contracts will soon become a thing of the past everywhere, and, if you like, the poll results themselves.

Thanks,
Justin

it's a different but wholly new plan of paying for your smartphone. I think all new customers ought to read THIS to better understand how the new landscape would work minus the two-year subsidy that has traditionally offset the cost of the phone itself.

I think Verizon was bleeding too many customers to Sprint and T-Mobile. They had to do something.

Personally, I quit Verizon at least 10 years ago. They treated customers like cattle. Been with T-mobile since except for one week when I tried ATT.
