Hi all,

This week's poll question is about news of Apple's new Apple Watch. Discuss here if you think consumers will embrace the device, and, if you like, the poll results themselves.

Thanks,
Justin

I like Apple products, especially when I can use the products without the necessity of iTunes.

But, to get the watch would feel like branding myself. I don't know, feels like just one step away from getting the Apple logo tattooed on my forehead.

From a purely technological viewpoint though, I think Apple have set the bar very high in wearable technology with the Apple Watch.

Google glasses, apple watch, what's next.............Microsoft underwear?

Thanks but no thanks. They get enough of my money as it is.....I'm not a technophile and if I don't actually need a device, well, I'm not likely to buy it.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.

In recent years gimmicks in all shapes and form seem to rule, so it will probably sell. I tend to only buy what I need but am probably in the minority. I won't be getting one.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

I guess this is as good a time as any to announce my new product line. It's an automobile air freshener--one of those you hang from your rear view mirror. It gives off the aroma of fried motherboard, leaving you to wonder which device has failed in your new computer-controlled car.

it will no doubt initially sell in its millions to all the sheep. But after a year or so Apple will quietly drop this technology.

I haven't put a shackle on my wrist for 30 years or more. I'm not about to start now.
