Hi all,

This week's poll question is about the major security flaw discovered in OpenSSL called "Heartbleed." Discuss here what, if anything, you are doing about the bug, and, if you like, the poll results themselves.

Thanks!
Justin

HeartBleed is a terrific name for a security vulnerability. Very few names could trump it. KillsYouAndYourChildernWhileYouSleep is too long. BabyPuppies doesn't sound threatening enough. GoOutsideForAChange is too commonly heard. Nope, HeartBleed is clearly the best choice.

That said, if anyone wants a technical explanation of the flaw, this one's pretty good.

In Canada, the CRA (our version of the IRS) was hacked via the HeartBleed vulnerability by a local lad, here in London Ontario - just a teenaged university student.

Oh, notoriety.

Censorship is the tool of those who have the need to hide actualities from themselves and others. Their fear is only their inability to face what is real.
