Hi all,

This week's poll question is about news that the Obama administration is going to recommend major changes to the NSA. Discuss here if you think these recommendations will actually alter the way the NSA operates, and, if you like, the poll results themselves.

Thanks!
Justin

First of all, I'm sure Obama knew all along what was going on with his NSA. His claims of ignorance of every scandal during his administration don't fly anymore.

There will have to be some changes because he's pissed off a lot of world leaders by spying on them. And the domestic spying--that the NSA isn't supposed to be doing anyway--has angered so many people that even his lackies in the news media are having a hard time cheering him on.

However this washes out, the NSA will be doing more spying than they publicly claim if only because that's their job. Hopefully these NSA revelations will spur development of more secure methods of communication that will leave the spies out in the cold--at least for awhile.

Agree with DAVE. This is as believable as "you can keep your insurance plan if you like it"...
