Hi all,

This week's poll question is about rumors that Google will stop using the "Nexus" brand on its own phones going forward. Discuss here if you think Google has done well with its own branded phones, and, if you like, the poll results themselves.

Thanks,
Justin

I don't know if it makes any difference one way or the other. Best buy, T Mobile stores and others seem to carry Samsung for 90% of their phones. Hard to get a Nexus phone with your plan if the carrier doesn't have them as a choice.

I wasn't willing to pay $700 for a Galaxy 7, so I took a chance on a relatively unknown brand that has great specs. ATX Axon 7. They only are available from certain vendors and they come unlocked. Only currently available for GSM carriers. I bought one from B & H Photo and one from Newegg.com. Different colors and different included prizes included.

So, maybe Nexus should go that route and sell unlocked phones online.
