Hi all,

This week's poll question is about the release of the much anticipated Google Drive service. Discuss here if you think this new offering will spell big trouble for Dropbox and other similar services, and, if you like, the poll results themselves.

It may well get a lot of its current consumers - the ones who already have GoogleDocs, Google+ etc. but I, for one, don't like the look of the small print. Google say that you own whatever is stored online but they reserve the right to "use, host, store, reproduce, modify…" etc etc. whatever you upload, which is really not a nice idea - Dropbox is far less 'all-encompassing' in its getouts. I really think that Google will start to get a bit of a backlash with its 'Big Brother' approach.

With all the pertinent information being stored on Google with a Google account, Gmail, Maps, YouTube, Google Docs, Google+, Contacts and everything else... I've been a bit hesitant to adopt the new Google Drive. There's a point where a single account with a single set of login details starts to become a potential liability. As if someone put your drivers license, all your credit and debit cards, insurance information, social security card, and house key on the same small piece of plastic that goes in your wallet. Convenient, absolutely. But a tremendous potential liability if someone were to get hold of it.

What do you guys think? Moreover, what kind of stuff are you going to store on your Google Drive if you sign up?
