Hi all,

This week's poll question is about news that the Samsung Galaxy Note10 is losing its headphone jack. Discuss here if you think all Samsung phones will soon follow, and, if you like, the poll results themselves.

Thanks,
Justin

I think within a few years all new phones will have no external connectors at all. We're just about there already. Keypads and antennas have been gone for awhile. Wireless charging is now possible. Apple has already gone to wireless headphones. Online storage or wireless portable hard drives would replace micro SD cards. They tell us batteries are getting better and they've already made it a major hassle to change them. With no external connectors the phone could be completely sealed maybe eventually leading to a one-step manufacturing process that would greatly reduce assembly costs. Then of course phone prices would plummet (Ha).
