Hi all,

This week's poll question is about news that Amazon is attempting to compete with Facebook for website Single Sign On services. Discuss here if you think Amazon's service will take off, and, if you like, the poll results themselves.

Thanks!
Justin

From all the issues linked from LinkedIn I always make it an attempt to separate all of my log on information, If nothing else different passwords using the same base.

Amazon should look at improving their site in other ways for the benefit of their users, as it falls down in a number of respects.

For example, the search could be improved. Also, often item descriptions are inadequate, yet there is no way to ask *ANY* question of the seller.

I can understand Amazon not providing this facility for their items due to the possible volumes involved. However the situation should be different for small traders, as many seem not to have grasped that e-commerce ideally should require no buyer/seller contact whatsoever, yet continue to provide incomplete details.

No such problems when using eBay.

Good Luck - Keep us posted.
