XpUser4Real,

We didn't run out, but it is sometimes difficult to get users to agree to write them. If anyone would like to do one who hasn't already done one, please let me know either here or via private message.

As for the character limit, that is a new requirement to try to get better questions. So far, it has worked fairly well. Some people have complained about it, but I have decided the benefits outweigh the costs for now.

Thanks!
Justin

Yes, as you know, I queried why my own Spotlight had appeared again. I assume the emails are still going out for them? I doubt I would have thought of producing one in the first place without prompting.

Derek,

I know Joe Pishgar has been sending e-mails without a lot of luck. That's why I decided to use an older one for this time around. Next time, we'll see if we can get a new one.

They must all be shy. It's not as if you have to include a photo LOL.

Curt R,

That is an interesting idea. I hadn't really considered it since it is "Member" spotlight. It may be interesting though. I'm going to add that into my list of considerations for next ones :)

It was just a thought I had.

I've been hanging out here for quite a while now and we've conversed in forum and via PM many times, yet I know very little about you.

Yeah, re #6, that's a great idea.

I'm just back online after a week of AWOL so I might have missed something.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Hey all,

I took Curt R's advice and wrote my own spotlight. Its up now... In a few weeks, Joe's will come online.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Derek,

Definitely... me too! Never thought of that, but another potential benefit :)

Might suggest links to previous member spotlights done under the current one. I think that might kindle more interest.

Maybe also include an option in member settings to get intermittent site updates, one of which could include new or re-run member spotlights.
