What's the appropriate section for posting questions about Gmail? That is, Gmail run from a browser on a computer, not an iPad or smart phone app, if that's relevant.

Thanks

Hey,

Best place would be whatever operating system you use, under the "Web Browsing" category.

Justin,

There seems to be no Help section or forum from which a new user can get help on using Tom's Guide: Tech Support. I joined in early August and am still floundering around, while still managing, with persistence, to get some great answers to questions.

Somehow I discovered that the Lounge is a forum where I could get a question answered about using this place, but things for the new user would be much better if there were some help info available, with the link to it obvious.

About the question you answered here, I wouldn't have (and didn't) come even close to guessing that Win 7 would be the place to ask Gmail questions.

Test 1.

I clicked on Reply to Justin Weber to open this form. For Test 2 I will click on Reply to win7zuki.

I'm trying to see if the difference makes a difference.

Hey,

Thanks for the tip... I'll take it into consideration!

Generally, what we've spent time doing was improving the tooltips users see on the Ask Question page. I think this allows the most users to receive help. As you know, most people won't end up on a specific "help" page. If you can give them the help when they are posting, for everyone to see, that is generally my preferred route.
