I don't think I've ever opened a box of cereal without tearing the cardboard tabs.

If they can put a man on the moon, . . .

I know... it's the easier option... But they take up more room than the basic box...; and the money spent on buying them is less cash for the important stuff.

Retires kitchen to retrieve ... and have another sip...

re' your Bluetooth/extension speaker issues a while back - how did that play out in the end?

Think it has less to do with the box and more to do with the bag inside.
It's the bag that keeps the cereal fresh.
I always use a clip to seal the bag, no need to manipulate the box.

I use the humungous screw capped plastic jars in which Costco sell their assorted nut offerings. They’re perfect for all manner of storage; as well as refilling them with Costco nuts sold in (recyclable?) plastic packages.

Contents of a typical serial box etc. fit nicely in them.

It's the rioters protesters that are keeping me up. Constant explosions, gunfire, sirens, & helicopters in my neighborhood well into the night. Not to mention the roar of the ATV/dirt bike gangs that seem to have been given free reign in many cities.
