Specs: XP/Win7/Win8, NA
Take notice that Microsoft will pull the plug from all Internet Explorer version except version 11 next Tuesday (Patch Tuesday) January 12, 2016. Read their pronouncement posted today HERE. As for IE11, it's anybody's guess how much longer it will work.

Well I just hope the keep IE11 long enough for the Edge experiment to work a lot better. The latter has some sillies. If you don't have it maximized its never ends up in the same place twice, also mine flashes the home page on and off from time to time. Thank goodness for Firefox and others.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Microsoft Edge is a weird animal that is still difficult for me to tame. I am hoping some day Microsoft will do a cosmetic makeover to make it better. Until then I am sticking to IE11 and FF.

Anyway for those who are determined to keep running the older IE versions no matter what, THIS new Microsoft Knowledgeable base article include steps to disable the notification feature. This feature warns about being wide open to new vulnerabilities in the future.
