unable to put file from solaris to windows XP

Specs: Windows XP
i am new but working with solaris o/s and create some text file. next i make another computer to windows ftp server (by using internet information service) its user name/password is admin/123admin. Then virtual ftp site create with d:\test folder. I am unable to put from solaris some files into that ftp server folder. the message displays "Access Denied". I have done this process.
$pwd /home/user/test/
$ ftp 192.168.5.30
{connected to 192.168.5.30
220 microsoft ftp service
name :admin
331 password required for admin:123admin
230 user admin logged in
Remote system type is windows NT}
After this check my current directory by ftp>pwd
257 "/" is current directory
ftp> put test.txt
200 port command successful
550 test.txt : Access is Denied
What happen? Please Help Me. Thanking in Advance.

I am not a Window's NT expert, and I don't mean to elaborate on the obvious, but it looks like it won't let you put files in the root directory.

Try changing to a directory on the NT machine where admin has privileges to create files.
