how to install solaris on vxvm

Specs: Solaris
Hi, I am newbie on Solaris.

I have gone thru how to install Solaris 10 on UFS/ZFS (interactive mode).

But if I want to put the OS on Veritas Volume Manager (rootdg), how can I perform during the installation?

Do I need to install Solaris 10 on SVM then install Storage Foundation Suite then convert the SVM to VXVM?

Thanks.

Hi, you must install Solaris on UFS or ZFS filesystem, then you must install Storage Foundation Suite and then you could do "Rootability" its means put the root filesystem under VxVM control.

see this link -> ftp://ftp.support.veritas.com/pub/support/products/VolumeManager_UNIX/vm32_admin_240253.pdf
there there is a manual of VxVM

I hope that this will be useful
regards
