How to disable Caps Lock Key

It has been found that due to mistake if Caps lock key is on while editing message or creating message, then system hang and sometimes application failed.

It depends on how you are accessing the Unix application. Are you accessing the application thru a Window's terminal emulator or are you from an actual terminal?

You could turn caps lock off thru the Window's registry although I wouldn't do that. It's discussed here:

Second, you can try controlling the terminal on the unix side. If you are using the X environment, the xmod command can disable caps lock.

Otherwise, terminal control is done either thru TERMCAP or TERMINFO. TERMCAP is a file and TERMINFO is a database.

Most modern applications use TERMINFO. Changing TERMINFO requires knowing what you are doing. Changing TERMINFO is done with the Terminfo Compiler, tic, command.

And, No, I have not researched how you might change TERMINFO.
