Solved How to access different user from root login

January 13, 2015 at 05:44:07
Specs: Solaris 10
I have logged in as a oracle user in Solaris 10 system.
I am trying to connect to sqlplus. But m getting TNS hostname not found error.
When I tried to ping my own machine using hostname and IP address both, it is not pinging.

However I can ping my own machine with root user.

That's why I tried accessing oracle user from root login using 'login' command. but it is showing me utmpx entry missing error.

Please suggest how to resolve this problem.
Thaks in advance.

That error can be caused by a full filesystem: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19455-01...
