ACL on Solaris 10

December 9, 2015 at 10:57:31
Specs: Solaris 10
I have 2 solaris 10 servers with same config, and haard mounted the NFS export with version 4. In one of the server i can use ls -V and chmod to set the ACL and in another machine it is not working.

ls -V --> invalid option

Are you sure the configurations are exactly the same? Both are the same revision of Solaris and both use the ZFS file system?

If you aren't sure about the file systems then you can't say that they are both the same. I suspect that one has a non-ZFS file system.
