Yahoo search results redirected

Hello All,
Having quite the issue with an HP laptop. It looks as if all the Yahoo Search results are getting redirected to adsites. The results are displayed correctly, but when you click the link you are taken to a completely different search engine/page, usually advertising.

I've run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware a few times, as well as Hitman Pro. They both found items and corrected them, but I am still getting the same issues. Also, Avast (home) 'blocks' malicious software as soon as you hit the enter key on the Yahoo search bar, however, I am still taken to these bad results.

to make matters worse, now the laptop (as soon as it turns on) gets the blue screen of death and restarts itself. Boots fine in Safe Mode.

Could be infected with redirect virus. Use a Good Spyware Removal tool and scan your computer and remove all the infections it finds

Also try TDSSKiller from Kaspersky. It's known to deal with redirect problems. You can also try to manually check you computers settings. Manual redirect removal guide
