XP Professional admin account locked out

February 28, 2011 at 16:14:02
Specs: Windows XP
It looks as though a virus may have locked 2 admin accounts on an XP Pro SP3 workstation. The accounts are literally the admin account and another user/admin account. So I can't boot to safe mode and enter a blank password for the admin account. I can still get into the system via a limited account login. When I try to login as admin it says "the account has been locked out".

I tried booting off my ERD CD (password recovery) and the system blue screens. Not good.

Any registry hacks/modifications I can do to make the admin account unlocked? Any suggestions?

Google Hirens boot cd. I created a bootable CD. Not only can you change the password of any account but you can unlock it as well. This case is solved and should be closed.
