Specs: windows 8, 2.793 GHz / 4 gig
in my Country they said Scammers are using Teamviewer to Remotely take control of other peoples computers- if these Hackers/spammers try to make it install silently - would my Avast detect this ??

Teamviewer is a legitimate program being used by scammers. Being that it's legit, it wouldn't be detected as a virus or malware. Plus it's not "installed silently". The scammers call a person directly, tell them their PC is infected, then offer to repair it. Then they sucker the person into installing Teamviewer for them.

Yes, you actually have to download it, select OK to install, and then OK to approve the install.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Years ago -- before I had caller ID -- I got one of those phone
calls, and deliberately followed all of the scammers instructions,
downloading and installing Teamviewer, and running it. When
the scammer told me to put in the number for Teamviewer to
connect to, that's when I finally declined to go any farther.
I wasted maybe 40 minutes of his time.
