Windows Vista Virus

Microsoft Windows vista home premium w/s...
April 12, 2010 at 13:30:08
Specs: Windows Vista, dell
I prefer using Mozilla Firefox. One day it stopped working and I saw a screen that said Firefox could not connect to the server. I deleted it and then downloaded it again only to get the same response. I downloaded Chrome and Safari--only to get the same results--they could not connect to the server.

I hate using Internet Explorer and want to know how to fix this problem.

Also, I keep getting this pop up from Windows Vista security thing. I found someone on this website who had the same problem and I read the responses. I tried to update my Java, but it says it cannot download the necessary files.

HELP!

You are missing out on the best! Hopefully you have all your critical updates installed.

I suggest you get scanning for viruses, spyware and rootkits.

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
