Solved Windows Live Messenger chatbot virus

Specs: Windows 7, Quad core Q9550 / 4gb DDR2
Hello!

I discovered today when I logged onto windows live messenger that my display name and personal message has been changed "Cheerleader" and "lonely tonight". Subsequently, every time someone logs in, it sends a sexual message in a pink font to the person. However this message is only visible through the messenger box opened in hotmail and not in the program.
I've changed my password and ran multiple scans off multiple different anti viruses including AVG and Avast without avail. Ive noticed that it does not seem to originate from my messenger, as it continued to send even when my messenger was deleted. I suspect that my email may have been hacked, since i had a very very simple email name and even more simple password.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you !
Kevin

✔ Best Answer
try a full scan with Malwarebytes and fix all it finds.

Then I suggest you run trojan remover and Hitman Pro untill they run clean

The messages seem to have stopped for now, the problem I think was a java exploit. Both Trojan remover and Hitman Pro running clean now. Thank you !!

you are welcome, you can mark that as best answer if you like and it will help others with the same problems, thanks

Those 2 were fully working 30 day trials, to uninstall them, be sure to use their OWN uninstallers in all programs.
DON'T uninstall them from Programs and features because they will not uninstall properly.
