'recovery commander' has infected my computer I logged and question on 21/6 and received reply from this site to download 'spyhunter'. which cost $40 but the dreaded 'recovery commander' is still alive and well. dos anyone know how to get rid of this 'thing'?
Recovery Commander isn't an infection, AFAIK it's part of the FixIt utility program - have you got that installed? if so just uninstall the whole thing. Failing that try downloading & running Revo uninstaller - it's free and should remove the program for you. "I've always been mad, I know I've been mad, like the most of us..." Pink Floyd
