Win32Trojan.TDSS virus?

Specs: Windows XP Media Center Edition SP 3, 2.20 GhZ/1.93 GB RAM
Last night, nasty viruses got on my computer. I got all of them out, except one:

I used Superantispyware and Ad-Ware in Safe Mode; the programs detect this virus, but it keeps showing up in my scans. It doesn't slow my computer down (except the internet); it doesn't flash details on the screen, make it crash, or anything like that. What happens is, as soon as I connect to the internet, there's playback of audio commercials (detergent, Apple iMac, etc.) or it plays music. It's like "audio pop-up" ads.

The Ad-Ware seems to have stopped the audio pop-ups temporarily; but my internet is still severly slow or just freezes altogether. No special website pops up. When I hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete, it doesn't show that anything is playing. I can't even make System Restore work; it tells me that "no restore date is available" and creating a date manually is not possible. I can't find that file or what ever to make it stop. Has anyone gone through this? What can I do to get rid of this virus? Help!

I have an HP Pavilion Desktop PC with Windows XP Media Edition.

Hi Jazzy,
popups and audios,, seems like a spyware opr even an adware infection, you should run an anti spyware program on your pc like Malware Bytes or Spyware Doctor.
