A few of my friends have had this virus, I don't think they have Malwarebytes or AVG and I was wondering if they would take care of it.

What is the card you are mentioning? I'm having a job to relate a "card" to any type of virus.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Hi WarrenTSI,

Performing a deep scan using malwarebytes may remove the virus however, you may refer to the link mentioned below:

I had the virus. I slaved the drive in another computer. I scanned the drive with maleware bytes from the other computer. Maleware bytes did not remove it. I aucually deleted the file I searched and searched google and found how to manually remove it. There is an easier way without slaveing the drive. You can boot to safemode with command. And btw the card it ask you to get. As far as I know all the cards have been recalled. I work in retail and I know they were recalled where I work. I am not sure if it's because people are really buying these cards to remove the virus or not or there thinking it will remove the virus. I really am not sure if paying with the card will do anything. All I know is for some reason the cards were recalled.
