Specs: Windows XP, 2gb
on my XP laptop ?
I was previously able to do so, and I've gone into D.E.P. and ensured that iTunes is exempted.

A new version iTunes could explain that, if the new version has a bug or unsafe memory usage. DEP will detect and suspend that behaviour unless you allow it (not always a wise thing to do).

You should consider updating your OS in my opinion if security is a concern to you.

XP is still widely used but it forces you to use old versions of software in many cases, and old versions have security holes in them.

Thanks, Phil22. As you mention, I could "allow" it. I have been in to D.E.P., and iTunes has been "allowed". But D.E.P. persists in blocking it.
