How do I safely download the wondershare slideshow software? When I click on download, my AVG virus protection immediately kicks in and tells me that several threats have been identified which may cause harm to my computer. One reference is to a GKR code.

Where are you trying to download the software from? GKR is normally associated with cracked software, so I wouldn't expect that to show up on a download from the software publisher.

Is it a legal copy or pirated? Try downloading a legal copy directly from Wondershare.

AVG removes the threats but it also stops the download.

How can it be pirated when I am trying to download from the wondershare sight?

That's what I was already doing. I fastidiously stay away from pirated sight because of ethical reasons.

"AVG removes the threats but it also stops the download"
Put the site into AVG exceptions ( they may call it something similar )
