What Virus is this?

March 8, 2010 at 19:30:30
Specs: Windows XP
First my computer started shutting itself down randomly, now everytime I am in a web browser the scrolling goes up and down when i try to click on something. Internet explorer will close down when I am viewing something, but it is not the usually non-responding virus that comes up. And google redirects. Anyone know what this virus is and how to get rid of it???

Not too sure what you mean by 'not the usually non-responding virus that comes up', sounds like you are always being attacked by them... Anyway, what antivirus/security program are you using? If it doesn't find anything, or has problems running, use one of the on-line scanners. The sort of symptoms you mention are unlikely to be related to one virus, & at least a couple of them could more likely be hardware related.
