I am seeking recommendations for a net browser other than Chrome. I am fed up with it due to being too heavy and often slow and also because it tracks my use. I used Firefox before but it was also too heavy and crashed often. What would be, in your experience, a light weight and less spying browser?

Some of them may lack features you may have come to know in other "heavier" browsers. Opera used to be my go-to browser before it became attached to the Chrome underframe.

DuckDuckGo is the one I use.

Doesn’t track and so on and, as best I can tell, is as fast as the infamous trackers google and chrome.

The Vivaldi browser is one of the quickest browsers. The browser produced great responsiveness to basic JavaScript applications, which is the most significant metric when comparing browser speeds.
