I have already purchased CC Cleaner but was thinking of getting Malwarebytes Pro. I am running Microsoft Security Essentials already do I need more protection? srloren
I would have stuck with the free versions of CCleaner and Malwarebytes, they both work just fine.
MSE is your main line of defence. It has real time scanning and rootkit capabilities.
Avast is also good and free. Please reply and let us know if our help worked.
Thanks, I have only downloaded the 14 day free trial of the Pro Version of Malwarebytes. srloren
Your welcome.
Malwarebytes changes to free version automatically, so you don't have to do anything when the trial ends. Please reply and let us know if our help worked.
I have had troubles with Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware both running real-time protection at the same time have a tendency to cause your computer to freeze.(mainly WindowsXP but some Windows7 also)
Exclusions need to be set up with MSE and Malwarebytes Pro to run with no conflicts. Here is the link to instruction on how to do this, the first section only.

Or you just disable Malwarebytes real time scanner to stop conflicts. As I said earlier MSE has a good real time scanner. Please reply and let us know if our help worked.
