Webroots secureanywhere will not scan past c:\$mbr.1

Specs: Windows 7
Webroots secureanywhere will not scan past c:\$mbr.1 and i am unable to solve ( or find and delete the file).

I have seen this page for help:

but am unable to get a response from webroot support or have the disc version of this product.

Are you paying for the service? If so, then you should be able to uninstall and reinstall. Otherwise I would doubt that they would allow you do this. If so following the instructions to do so in your link would fix the problem?

Thank you for the quick response but after playing with the rootkit and heuristics settings and doing some restarts I was able to get it working.

But yes I am paying for it but webroots updated their software to the secureanywhere stuff and thus this bug. As for un/reinstalling anti-virus progams they have never seemed to be easily done without outside help.
