Virus, security essentials

I don't know where this topic goes, but I'm desperate.

A few years back, I was hit with a malware, and, since I didn't know what to do, I clicked on a "conveniently placed" anti virus program on my computer. Much to my chagrin, that was actually the problem. The computer becomes unfixable, so I get a hand me down from my uncle, and it had some old antivitus protection on it.

Now, I'm being hit with SECURITY ESSENTIALS 2010, and since I;m a little be wiser, I tried to take care of it myself.

I used Hijackthis to delete the viruses, then the LSP to move the name.

Afterwards I used the malabytes antivirus to scan and delete it all.

But, when I decided to all the infections, one last message came up "Can run (followed by a bunch of 00000000 and xxx's) click to terminate".

So, I did.

The malaybates said it would delete and reboot, so, it was rebooting........And now.....All I get is the HP screen followed by a black screen with the typing cursor on it.

What do I do?
