Specs: Windows XP
My contacts keep having an email sent from a pharmacy website even though I have closed my hotmail account and cleaned my computer. What do I do?

The pharmacy website already has your contacts' email addresses, it's nothing to do with whether you've closed your Hotmail account. Make sure you have a strong password on your new account as that is possibly the reason your hotmail account got hacked in the first place. All the recipients can do is to set their email client to immediately delete anything coming from the particular domain, or if they use webmail then set it to go into the junk mail folder & ignore it.

Could your problem have something to do with the recent changes done by hotmail? Been hearing various complaints regarding the email service lately. I myself haven't been able to access it for 2 days...while others can. I was about to panic but good thing I came across this post suggesting an upgrade of browser. And that's what I did...I realized that my browser is just not in the version compatible with the upgraded hotmail. In case you encounter a similar situation, your problem might be one of those indicated in this guide to fix hotmail.
