Virus Disguise

Specs: Windows XP
Is there a virus that looks like a netgear page?
When I booted up my laptop (which is directly connected to the router) a router page popped up asking if I want to connect to the internet. It looked (Very) similar to the Netgear. It also had an IP 192.168.1.1. which is my routers IP. when I try to connect to my router all I get is this page. I have not done anything new to my computer.

I have Time Warner Cable (cable) modem, and my Netgear Wireless Router (which is secured). I can not connect to the internet through my router now.

My Question is: is there a virus that replicates a Netgear settings page?

try opening IE then tools/internet options/connections/lan settings
and if proxy settings is checked, uncheck it. Then try getting online.

Viruses and spyware will make that change at times.
