s---ty virus in Windows XP?

You see i've got an XP machine (32 bit) and it's got a really bad virus. After some time after ive connected to the internet a message used to come up saying Generic Host Process for win32 has encountered a problem and needs to close down. Afer some days the virus disabled all the number keys above the alphabets except 5 and 6. Now it has disabled Q, A and Z. Also disabled Kaspersky. Any idea about the name of the virus?
