Virus changed all my passwords

July 6, 2011 at 12:40:48
Specs: Windows XP
Virus "Eliza Moon" changed all passwords, and I can't get into my system now. Not as administrator, not in safe mode, nothing has worked. I don't have a backup disc or anything, computer is an older model Dell.
Any suggestions?

"Virus "Eliza Moon" changed all password"

That's odd as it does steal and forward password, but to render your computer useless is self defeating.

I would try removing the cmos battey as any login passwords will be taken out.

Then I would download and burn a Dell xp disk.

Well, first it went crazy and the virus software came on and said it was Eliza Moon. Then of course it really went crazy, opeing and closing files, etc., until it simply rebooted itself. When it came back on, it goes to the log in, but won't take any password. I have tried different users that are set up o it, it says those passwords are invalid. I reboot in safe mode, same thing. I reboot in command mode, it tells me it can't.
