virus blocks even Safe Returner

Specs: Windows XP, Pentium (r) 4 cpu 3.0ghz 2.99ghz, 2.0 gb of ram
I have a virus that will not allow me to run any security systems, I cannot do any windows updates, and I went folder by folder through my pc, and I cannot find it. I have tried safe mode, safe mode with networking, I've done remote desktop with tech support from BullGuard and Microsoft IT. There is no record of the virus. When I have an anti-virus/spyware/malware/firewall on my PC it runs super slow, but when you uninstall them, fast as the day I got it.

I tried BullGueard, AVG, Avast, Microsoft Security Essentials, Flash Disinfector, Safe Runner, Kill Rogue, McAfee, Zone Alarm, Malware Bytes. . . I'm at a loss, any suggestions would be great.

I have the infamous google redirect virus, and yes I had recently (with-in the last 6 months) downloaded

Audacity
Adobe Audition
Sound Recorder
Wave PAd
(I do voice over work obviously, lol)
Camtasia Studios
Winrar

Also while trying to fix this issue a notepad popped up on my desktop titled "catchme" stating:
read file error: C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\AnyDVD.sys, The system cannot find the file specified.

If someone has help please contact me directly

I work from home and need my pc, unfornately I do not have a spare pc or the funds to buy a new one, and I do not want to lose my job because of some jerk who has nothing better in their life to do than screw with people. This is insane. . . and trust I won't ever download ANYTHING EVER AGAIN!!!! THIS IS CRAP!!!!

Thanks in advance for any assistance!!!

Give TDSS killer a shot:
http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?q...
There may be an unwanted rootkit installed
Then you can try:
1- Trojan Remover
http://www.simplysup.com/tremover/d...
2- Hitman Pro
http://www.surfright.nl/en
and fix all they find.

Thanks for the detailed post, it really helps when people let us know what they have already tried to remedy the problem. The above 3 should be able to remove the problem, if not, there are more good free cleaners....good luck

PS: by the way...I would remove your e-mail address in the post as spammers will have a hayday with it and spam you to death. There is a notepad looking icon to the top right of your post, click that and edit out the e-mail addy, that's for your own protection...

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions 7 Medals

i cannot edit or delete this. . I thought I did and reposted without my info, but this is still here. . huh, anyway

I had already tried TDSS Killer, just forgot to post that, sorry.

I already tried Gmer and it did start to scan and find 'hidden' files, but after a couple minutes, it must have gotten that program too cause it just stops scanning
Mwav says that memory files are missing, and I can't even open combofix. . . it must have gotten that before it even finished downloading. . I get the same error message too. . you don't have permissions to access this file or something like that.
Also while trying to fix this issue a notepad popped up on my desktop titled "catchme" stating:
read file error: C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\AnyDVD.sys, The system cannot find the file specified.
Honestly, it's like someone has access to my pc, and each of the newer program starts to run and suddenly then are missing memory files, or I have been denied access, program is open and running etc. . . when I go in to my internet setting it says something about a g-pci device, that never used to be there, and in some of the security settings I am not listed as the 'parent' account, but yet I only have ONE pc account. My daughter has her own pc so we each only have the Admin account. . and it has me with restricted permissions, and when I change it to full access, it's like it doesn't matter. . I dunno.
I get these two errors:
"The name C:\Program Files\*****.exe specified in the target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct."
or
Then, I tried to reinstall the file, and changed the name to df and had the same problem as before. The program begins to scan for 5 seconds and then shuts down. If I try to run it again, I get this message:
"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."
